2010 - World-famous artist Vik Muniz returns to his native Brazil to create works of art out of trash, assembled by the trash pickers who collect recyclables from a landfill for a living. Muniz ponders how much he can acceptably disrupt the lives of his subjects. The film is marketed as and is an uplifting story - the pickers' lives are turned upside down. The deeper question is about happiness - were they happy before Muniz entered their lives and showed them a new side of the world? How can they go back to picking after participating in a life-changing modern art project?

2010 - Bill Cunningham is the charming, grandfatherly dude behind the New York Times “On the Street” page in the style section. It's an absolute delight to watch him work. He's asked revealing questions about his love life and religion, and his answers make this film a very personal story, beyond a simple biography or history of the New York Times. Watch it when you're sick of everything in your closet.
